Belfagor is an astronaut’s helmet on a sarcophagus plinth made of shell limestone. La statua che respira (Breathing statue) alludes to the fact that it was presented with music composed from the sounds generated by making the statue. Together with a series of bronze heads it was placed in a workshop with music filling the exhibition space.
