NFT Project
Ethereum Blockchain

To say that the metaverse mirrors our physical universe sounds trite. But it raises questions about the nature of our reality. Isn't the material just as immaterial as the immaterial is material? Is our universe just the metaverse of another time? I imagine the two „verses“ as giant mirrors facing each other, in which the pictures we make are endlessly tossed back and forth like in a ping pong game. Maybe our universe is just the metaverse of another time? How about turning the mirrors a little bit, so that the images, rotated 90°, fly off into infinity while we have time to look at them from a different perspective?

I bring into play sculptures of dense matter, thoughts of uncut imagination, a voice. I want to know what happens to my images in this ping pong game. And I want to see if one of the mirrors doesn't get a wonderful blow.

The Ping Pong Project is a series. Each artwork involves a physical sculpture, a video (edition of 100 NFTs) and video stills (edition of 10 to 20 NFTs for each still). The physical sculptures become the protagonist of a short audiovisual clip that provides them with an interpretative framework and at the same time moves them into virtual space.

All items have an identification on the Ping Pong Chain, which is my own blockchain mimickry as well as the structure that connects all these images to one another.

There will be eight videos in total. "Stinky feet", "Revolution" and "Birth of Venus" are three videos that were minted via the OpenSea platform and can also be viewed there. The audio track of two of these videos is here:
