> A trip through the desert Part 02

Photo shoot
Bir Al Gabal, Egypt

On a desert journey, playfully testing out a new manifestation of my art figure “The Phantom”. Here's the text I posted about it on Instagram, to get a feel for the character:

"Oh, I'm tired of English now. So please: French, Italian, German, that's all I know at this level. The world has to adapt to me, not the other way around.

You're a troublemaker, says Antje. It's a severe condition!

That's right, that's right. I have to laugh.

We went to the desert, Antje and I. Ah, and it was good. Really good. There were hot springs and starry skies, a vast, fine landscape, silence and wind. Strange desert animals with yellow teeth. Ancient Roman temples; those cocky asses were here too, of course. And Jupiter! In the sky and on earth, walking over sand dunes and long, pointed shadows in the afternoon. Il sole del meriggio by De Chirico, I think, though I wanted to finally get rid of this educational ballast, it seems like so many dangerous planks in front of my head. On the one hand.

In Bir Al Gabal, Antje took photos of me in an outfit I was in the mood for. I want to play, always play, that I am a free person. I am one. No one will ever talk me out of it."
